Path of the Least Resistance

We are 2+ years into the pandemic and boy are things changing and fast!

Given this unprecedented time, I've put together a list that I believe there are basically three ways we can respond to a given situation.

  1. Resist it.

  2. Accept it.

  3. Feel Grateful for it.

In my coaching calls I mention this a lot so I thought why not share a bit with my beloved e-mail list.  You may or may not know that the path we choose today or any day for that matter can completely change our internal state.

So when we're in the first path of Resistance, we tend to SUFFER a lot.  We experience things on a subconscious level like "Why me?!?"

And when we accept a given situation, the resistance goes to zero. As does our suffering. We then experience more thinking along the lines of "I'm okay with this."

But when we feel Grateful for a situation, we're the opposite of resisting it. We feel joy and expansion instead of negativity and contraction. When we are in a constricted state, NOTHING can shift and most likely you will be experiencing some sort of pain or negativity along with this state that in no way serves you.

Here's the good news!

…and you will experience more thoughts like "Thank you for this!" "Thank you for this moment to slow my body down and focus on myself or my family."

It's easy to feel grateful for life's events when things are going according to plan. And it's a next-level challenge to feel gratitude when life throws us unexpected changes.

Yet it's entirely possible. It's more difficult, yes. But it's 100% possible. And it's a very worthwhile pursuit.

If you value your growth and self-actualization, then everything you encounter in life is an opportunity to grow.

Especially the difficult, stressful, and challenging experiences like COVID-19.

It’s not easy to approach life with this frame. But it is extremely powerful.

Typically, we reserve gratitude for the “good” things in life.

But when you value growth, and you know stressors help you grow, you can be grateful for all the “bad” stuff too.
As most gyms were closed over the past year, it can feel harder than normal to move your body. I'm very grateful for being able to go for a walk outside or head downstairs to my in home gym, I realize a lot of you do not have access to equipment or an exercise bike.  As promised from 4 days ago, I put together a quick and effective at home Total Body Workout - no equipment is needed but your body and positive mindset!

Now that you have an extra opportunity to focus on your health and wellness, I want to help you help yourself. As I mentioned previously, giving yourself the gift of movement is a great way to stay on track, keep your strength up and continue to create an environment for your immunity to be boosted. I hope you enjoy and find this beginner workout useful. More to come in the coming days and weeks.

Continue to make sure you’re still preparing healthy meals on schedule, exercising and getting fresh air. It does the body good! I promise!

Stay safe & stay healthy.

Sending you so much love and light!
