My Review of DIME Beauty Eyelash Boost Serum

Prior to aligning with Beautycounter, it is true that I barely even washed my face. Heck, back in the day, I washed with sensitive skin Dove soap because I was so afraid of what was going to happen to my skin. I broke out from absolutely everything. Even wearing mascara, I’d get eye sensitivity. When I entered my forties, I started to notice, and I believe this could be connected to my thyroid disorder, but that my eyelashes were no longer full and well long. It was quite alarming for years, I was losing my hair as well, before I fixed my gut (mainly SIBO and candida) and began thyroid medication.

I was applying my mascara one day, and I noticed I barely had any lashes left. So I started to look for ways to help support my lashes safely and effectively. This was also just a mere 6 months prior to our new mascara launching, which has an incredible tripeptide technology, with added panthenol (provitamin B5), which blends lash-care conditioners that help lashes appear longer, fuller, and stronger, and healthier-looking lashes, so quite quickly the new mascara launched became my favorite mascara (blog post here why).

While I had a well-founded skincare routine for years, I was never a big makeup wearer until I actually found Beautycounter. I think because of how sensitive my skin is, all makeup or any type of lotions, potions and serums would either bother my eyes and make them water or I’d break out. I’ve been successfully using Dime Eyelast Boost Serum for over 8 months, and I’m enjoying the results very much.

What is Eyelash Boost Serum?

Think of it this way, you can help your eyelashes grow naturally full and beautifully, creating long lashes safely. Eyelash Boost Serum is formulated with clean ingredients that are gentle and nice to your skin. Remember, I mentioned how sensitive my eyes and skin are?! You can help your lashes improve length, density, and strength of hair as well as overall follicle health due to the proprietary blend of amino acids and peptides. I’ve found that the appearance of my lashes, (you can also use on your eyebrows, but I have not to date) has improved in the appearance and also a longer life span and tenure in hair follicles.

I am serious about taking good care of my skin and weekly, I get asked what my skincare routine looks like.

What are the Ingredients?

  • Amino Acids
Collagen is rich in amino acids that your body needs to build keratin, the protein that makes up the hair. These are the building blocks of hair and most of our bodies.

  • Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1
Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 can have positive effects on hair follicles by promoting scalp micro-circulation and reducing follicle atrophy and aging.

  • Myristoyl Pentapeptide-4
An ingredient that has been shown to improve keratin production, which is a vital part of hair strength and health.

How to apply the eyelash boost serum

When applying the DIME Beauty Eyelash Boost Serum daily, it literally takes less than a minute, however attention to detail is highly important. Apply the serum directly to the base of your eyelash, where it meets your eyelid. I actually applied it on the top of my lashes to close to my eyeball and accidentally got some in my eye, nothing happened, but I did notice a bit of watering. You can also apply to the top and bottom lashes as well, I only did the top.

The only warning is to not apply it directly to your eyeball. Of course, I did this! Overachiever at times, I guess! Just be careful to keep it on your lashes.

What are the results?

What I noticed, was after using the eyelash boost serum for a full 60 days, religiously, (once I commit, there is no going back!), I noticed my lashes becoming fuller! Unfortunately, I took no photos during the 60-day period to track the progress, but I had felt like it worked great on both eyes and when comparing conventional lash serums which have harmful ingredients not only to your eyes, but your overall health, that can potentially change your eye color to blue to brown, ummmmmm this was a no-brainer to me.

What I noticed, was a bit of longer length and overall fullness. My lashes did become fuller, and my secret was using both the new mascara and eyelash boost serum.

If you're thinking this might be a good fit for you, I would recommend giving DIME Beauty Eyelash Boost Serum a try. It’s clean, which you know if super important to me. Do I think that there are better products out on the market? Potentially yes, but at what cost to your health?

What does my nightly routine look like using eyelash boost serum?

Fuller lashes happen with a solid routine and sticking with it and being consistent! Here’s my nightly routine in order of use:

  1. Cleanse my favorite daily face wash is this daily exfoliating cleanser.

  2. Prep – my favorite is the Radiance Toner

  3. Treat – I am OBSESSED with this peel. It’s one of those products where you start to see results right away. My skin is so soft, less ashy, and more even when I use it regularly. It’s awesome for age spots, acne scarring, and hyperpigmentation. It gently resurfaces the skin overnight.

  4. Moisturize l use this nightly moisturizer after my daily serum.

  5. Eye Cream - I use this eye cream every single night. Without fail. It reduces the appearance of under-eye shadows and crow’s feet for a smooth, firmed look.

  6. Eyelash Boost Serum - Apply nightly to the base of the upper and lower eyelashes. Continue using to aid the condition and appearance of your lashes. Apply every other day if a mild tingling sensation occurs.
