My Journey Managing TMJ with Plackers

My TMJ Journey with Dental Procedures
In addition to using Plackers, I underwent a procedure my dentist humorously referred to as a “tooth haircut.” This involved shaving down specific teeth to improve my bite and relieve jaw tension. The process helped distribute pressure more evenly across my teeth, significantly improving my ability to chew without pain.
