Before diving into new products, let’s get to know your skin a little better. Do you know your skin type? Is it oily, dry, combination, or sensitive? Understanding this is the first step in choosing the right products. Take a moment to observe your skin:

I’ve been using their products in place of all of my Beautycounter for over five weeks now, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt, Oliveda products are great alternatives, and even better in some cases, for many of your tried and true favorite Beautycounter products. Oliveda is a European brand that focuses on waterless skincare, so it’s extremely potent and the results are SO wild. I noticed a change in my skin within 72 hours!

I also want to acknowledge that I know it’s so much easier to order from one company, but I truly believe after you try some of these products, you will be really happy you did! The website the first time I went on to look at the products, this was about 7 months ago, I saw this brand come on to the scene and I had clients starting to ask me about waterless beauty, it was a bit confusing and unlike Beautycounter’s site that was labeled by color, this took a lot more investigating. So, I started doing my research and what I found was pretty amazing! This post is to help you decipher what products swap from Beautycounter to Oliveda. It took me some time playing with the products, and also making sure the ingredients performed similar to Beautycounter.

Product Swaps from Beautycounter to Oliveda

Countertime

COUNTERTIME CLEANSING OIL

The Oliveda Arbequina Cleansing Oil (F78) is a wonderful cleansing oil as it smoothes, provides lipid defense and refines your pores. While it does that, it also removes impurities without destroying your skin’s natural barrier function.

COUNTERTIME ESSENSE

The Corrective Facial Tonic (F67) is Oliveda’s toner for aging and dry skin. It soothes your skin while also getting rid of dead skin cells. It has hydroxytyrosol and the vitamin C booster camu camu, helps to protect your skin from environmental stressors and the hyaluron, gives the skin a radiant and youthful glow. I spray this into my palms with two pumps and press into my skin. Meet Oliveda F59 Corrective Face Serum. This is what people call “botox in a bottle” and is sold out within hours of restock. It is made with the ingredient, para cress which has a lifting effect similar to botox, but’s clean and so much safer and healthier for us. It targets fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my lines around my jaw line since I started two freaking days ago!

COUNTERTIME TRIPEPTIDE RADIANCE SERUM

I really liked the Countertime Radiance Serum but after a while I stopped using it because I felt my skin only got to a certain point with it and stopped, so I ended up loading on vitamin C (Brightening Oil) instead. I know a lot of you LOVED this product, so let me give you something that has actually BLOWN my mind! This has gone viral and within a day, I noticed a difference!

Meet F59 CORRECTIVE FACE SERUM - now when I say this is quite literally magic in a bottle, I don’t lie! Whoa. This has been coined “botox in a bottle” and for good reason. When you use it, it dramatically reduces forehead lines and fine lines in general. I saw a difference in just two days. I’m really obsessed - ha! Like everyone else too! This has concentrated hydroxytyrosol power combined with the smoothing para cress extract. Para cress works as a Botox alternative by having positive effects on the collagen, which lifts the skin. I find it to quickly absorb, which in turn creates a sculpted and contour look with a side of a healthy and glowing complexion - literally in just seconds! Signs of premature aging can't only be prevented but minimized.

I also have the Oliveda Green Retinol Face Elixir, and while I haven’t been able to use this as much, I have been adding this at night to my F06 Cell Active Face Serum. The Green Retinol Face Elixir is made from Backuchiol, which is what Beautycounter used in the reti-natural line, Countertime. This is great to help reduce fine lines and pore size, and in turn it also improves complexion, contracts pigmentation, and protects against free radicals, think smog, smoke, environmental damage throughout the day. If you’re only getting one serum, get the Oliveda F59 Corrective Face Serum, but I wouldn’t not try the Green Retinol, I like to shake things up and maybe this can be on your “add to cart” on another day type of product!

COUNTERTIME SOFT CREAM

The best Soft Cream swap is the Oliveda F42 Corrective Face Cream. It’s great for dry and aging skin. It has within extra hydroxytyrsol, which is a super powerful antioxidant! It evens out uneven skin relief, corrects small lines and wrinkles. The hydration is really smoothing, super hydrating, improves elasticity and reduces fine lines including a natural sun protection factor of 15% SPF. Very cool!

COUNTERTIME SUPREME CREAM

So the Supreme was a cult favorite from Beautycounter especially for the consistency. The swap for this is the Oliveda F08 Cell Active Face Cream. I like this cream because it’s actually the thickest of the Oliveda moisturizers, and a little goes a long way. It helps with aging, neutralizes free radicals and provides cellular protection. Less if more here with this moisturizer. If you have dry skin, you will love this.

COUNTERTIME EYE CREAM

Ok, I LOVED this eye cream, but you know what? I think I LOVE the Oliveda F60 Corrective Eye Cream. I swear my eyes are glowing, and the fine lines are nonexistent! This eye cream gives you a smoothing effect around your eyes plus helps boost collegan. It’s super hydrating as well. If you want to get real serious about the eye area, and you suffer from crows feet, add in a few drops of the Oliveda F64 Corrective Eye Elixir underneath the eye cream. It has a triple hyaluronic acid structure and a whole heck of a lot of antioxidants. It hydrates and plumps while also giving your eyes a more radiant and kid you not a major LIFTED look. You apply a few drops under your eyes, massage it in with your ring finger, and then follow with the Corrective Eye Cream.

Countermatch

COUNTERMATCH FOAMING CLEANSER

For the Countermatch Foaming Cleanser swap, you’ll want to use the Oliveda F71 Corrective Cleansing Gel or LA Dope Your Glow 009 Cleanser - the only difference here is the added hemp within the LA Dope 009 cleanser. Both cleaners, are made with hydroxytyrosol, which makes is an MVP full of antioxidants. It gives you a deep clean and gentle cleansing experience while helping with pigmentation. I would consider both cleansers to be super hydrating which is nice, and I use both each week depending on my mood. It smells amazing, and a little bit goes a long way. I use in the am and pm and my skin is loving both cleansers!

COUNTERMATCH HYDRA GEL RADIANCE TONER

The Oliveda F11 Activating Facial Toner is the best swap for normal/sensitive or combination skin because it strengthens and tones the skin instead of striping it or leave it feeling dry and helps restore your skin’s pH balance.

COUNTERMATCH INTENSE HYDRATING SERUM

The swap for the Countermatch serum is the Oliveda F86 Corrective Vegan Hyaluronic Acid Serum. Hyaluronic serums work really well for wrinkles and fine lines, as they deeply moisturize and are great for dry and aging skin. When using this serum your skin will feel protective from environmental stressors, and you’ll feel it’s more tight and elastic plus major radiance. You could use this both am and pm.

COUNTERMATCH AM ADAPTIVE MOISTURIZER

The Oliveda F05 Anti Oxidant Face Cream is the best swap for the Countermatch cream. The feel of this cream is thicker in nature, but it’s not heavy. I like applying it to my palms, swirling it around my palms, which warms it up to melt more to apply to my skin. It balances, hydrates appropriately and protects your skin from environmental stressors during the day. The light day cream refreshes and plumps up tired skin upon application.

COUNTERMATCH EYE CREAM

The best eye cream option is the Oliveda F09 Anti-wrinkle Eye Cream. It moisturizes the delicate eye area, tightens it and reduces lines and small wrinkles. I really like the Oliveda eye creams, and it’s because I really notice a difference in using them. It’s non-irritating also.

Countercontrol

COUNTERCONTROL CLEANSER

The Oliveda F38 Purifying Cleansing Gel is great for acne prone skin. This cleanser is gentle + it foams upon adding water. It will help rid the skin gently, but deeply into the pores, of make-up, sebum, and dirt particles. It packs a punch with highly concentrated antioxidants that help fight free radicals, while it refines pores. Not only that, but it leaves your skin feeling soothed, revitalized, and moisturized leaving nothing but a fresh feeling, and a velvety-soft and vibrant tone that radiantly glows.

COUNTERCONTROL INSTANT MATTE TONER

The Oliveda F11 Activating Facial Toner is also great for acne or oily prone skin. It refines pores and gives your skin tone a more radiant, pure glow, while also soothing your skin with chamomile extract.

COUNTERCONTROL

The Oliveda F81 AHA + HT Serum Face is a great dupe for the overnight resurfacing peel or the matte effect gel from Countercontrol. This product helps reduce scarring, helps hyperpigmentation, improves elasticity and boosts collegan. It actively smoothes rough and uneven skin texture and prevents skin blemishes, which makes it fabulous for acne prone skin. Like the overnight peel, it gently exfoliates and sloughs off dead skin cells, which can cause build up and breakouts.

COUNTERCONTROL SPOT TREATMENT

If you want to treat spots on certain areas on your face, then the Oliveda F85 SOS Face Drops, is going to be your go-to. The unique formula helps to balance acne and spots while counteracting the formation of new acne. It also helps to reduce acne-causing bacteria, balance sebum production, and promotes finer pores.

COUNTERCONTROL MATTE EFFECT GEL CREAM

The Oliveda LA DOPE 003 Dope Your Glow Face Cream is a great replacement for oily/acne prone skin. It’s lightweight, improves skin elasticity, and overall just balances the skin’s hydration. It will also help with visible signs of skin aging, such as expression lines.

ALL BRIGHT VITAMIN C SERUM

If you loved this, then you LOVED this serum! It’s for good reason, it worked. I have swapped the Oliveda F83 HT + vitamin C Serum and have actually loved it even more than Beautycounter! It’s made with camu camu, like Beautycounter’s but the super powerful antioxidant hydroxytyrosol is also the stabilizer which helps increase the effectiveness by 1300%! Pretty cool, huh? It helps improve complexion, fine lines and also neutralizes free radicals. The before and afters of this product are absolutely mind-blowing, so I HIGHLY recommend trying it!

ALL BRIGHT OIL

This was my favorite oil from Beautycounter! But I’ve been using the Oliveda F63 for a while now, and I have to say it compares and performs marvelously! I’m a little shook how much I love it! Drenches the skin with youthful freshness and gives the cells new energy while, it cares for dry and brittle skin as well as it regulates rather oily skin. This is part of their sought after Love Duo that has gone viral and people are absolutely obsessed.

OVERNIGHT RESURFACING PEEL

The Oliveda F81 AHA + HT Serum Face is a dupe for the Overnight Resurfacing Peel. It’s very similar, but I love the added hydroxytyrosol. Like the Overnight Peel this is a chemical exfoliator, it helps to improve blemished skin, removes acne and reduces scars (from acne), it has an anti-aging effect, removes fine lines and smoothes even deeper wrinkles, improves circulation and elasticity, and boosts collegan production.

LOTUS GLOW CLEANSING BALM

I loved the cleansing balm, but this True Botanicals - CALM Ginger Turmeric Cleansing Balm is a great swap for Beautycounter’s beloved balm.

AHA MASK

I was obsessed with the Beautycounter AHA mask. I worked this in religiously once per week. A good swap would be the Oliveda Honey Enzyme Face Mask. The honey enzyme mask doesn’t get “hard” it stays smooth and also has a warming feeling. It’s also green, which makes it fun! This is a great mask for dry or aging skin. I love that this is an enzyme mask because it’s so good for deeper lines and wrinkles.

BAMBOO FACE POLISH

I have an exfoliator product that is great for physical exfoliation, but it’s not a powder like the bamboo face polish from Beautycounter. I do however really enjoy the F10 Oliveda Olive Core Face Peeling Mask, which helps absorb dead skin cells and supports the regeneration process.

SUNSCREEN

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen is my favorite WITHOUT tint for a Beautycounter dupe and if you want tinted use the Glowscreen.

THE CLEAN DEO

I have the best luck when I switch out the brands I use for natural deodorants. For some, you are good with one brand, and it continues to work, but for me, I like to switch them out or alternate for better coverage (less smell) and protection. I like to alternate with Primally Pure mostly.

BODY LOTION

I used the Beautycounter body lotion for years and have always loved the hydration from it, but now that we can’t get it, I do also really love the Anti-Again Body Cream from Oliveda.

BODY WASH

I also used Beautycounter’s Body Wash, and I recommend the Oliveda Shower Gel. My favorite is grapefruit rose.

DAILY SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER

I’m still working on this and will update the blog once I have a good dupe.

BEAUTYCOUNTER’S LIP BALM

I highly recommend the F75 OLIVE TREE THERAPY LIP BALM - I kid you not, this is the BEST lip balm I have ever used. I’m picky, like REALLY picky with lip balm, and I’m shocked how much I love it! It has so much hydration, and it keeps my lips soft ALL day. I feel it plumps my lips also in a very real way and naturally.

Transitioning Your Routine

Switching skincare products should be a gradual process to avoid overwhelming your skin. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
